Rob McSorley

Founder

Rob has had a keen interest in cars from the tender age of five and has always followed the motor industry very closely through the media ever since with a particular interest in car design. From the age of eight Rob began penning his own car designs based on current motoring trends. At the age of thirteen Rob started his own Yahoo based website called CrazyAboutCars which featured all of his designs for the world to see. At the age of fourteen Rob decided to design a range of cars under his own fictitious company name of Zen Cars and his second website was born. Rob quickly developed a brand identity and styling direction for his models and began building up a product range. This website proved relatively popular thanks to interest from other young designers with the same ambition.

Two years later Rob was lucky enough to have been spotted by an Autoexpress editor, Richard Yarrow who expressed interest in writing an article about Rob’s designs and website. The article was published weeks later and ZenCars hits skyrocketed with interest from car enthusiasts across England and Europe.

Since then Rob has been an active member on several car forums reviewing car design trends and following car development stories from the drawing board to production. Enjoying writing in early 2011 Rob decided to start a new website of his own featuring his coverage of the latest news which later expanded into writing car reviews with the support of a number of UK press offices providing vehicles for review.

Leo Kimitri

Guest Contributing Editor

Leo Kimitri practically came out of the womb dreaming about cars and has spent every waking moment since plotting how to make a living from driving them. As a Top Gear Magazine subscriber from the age of 9 (and now with a 175-issue-strong collection), Leo managed to wangle his way into the Top Gear offices for work experience in 2011 and has also worked with Auto Express and motoring editorial and classifieds site Motorkwik.co.uk (sadly now defunct), where he pitched and wrote news articles, features and used car consumer advice.

In 2010/11 Leo studied a postgraduate diploma in journalism at Cardiff University and was subsequently shortlisted and interviewed for the Guild of Motoring Writers’ Phil Llewellin Student of the Year Award, on the strength of features about BMW’s carbon reduction strategy and on how uncertain lithium supplies could make the current crop of electric cars obsolete.

Fed up of reading endless reviews of platinum plated Bugattis and Lamborghinis across the motoring press, Leo recently founded Carliament.com where he passes judgement on cool cars that people can actually afford. Carliament.com focuses on great value used cars and cheaper new models, providing wallet friendly motoring advice for car fans.

Josh Ross

Guest Contributing Editor

Josh's long held passion for cars and the automotive industry was initially sparked by a fascination for two wheeled machines. As a toddler Josh quickly learnt the model designations and specifications of Motorbikes that he spotted. According to well informed family sources he would identify the bikes as soon as they roved into view.

Before long Josh's attention turned to cars, an abundance of motor show attendances followed and years later he decided to study a Journalism, Film and Broadcasting Degree at Cardiff University. With his passion for motoring still very much alive he pursued work experience placements at What Car?, Auto Express and Top Gear Magazine.

Unsure how long it would take to break into the industry, Josh then studied a PR Postgraduate - keen to combine his knack for presenting with writing and influencing. Positions in sales and a career in PR followed, and then last year he began writing on all things automotive. Josh's website, Fuel For Thought, is his motoring focused outlet featuring reviews, news and opinion pieces. Here you'll find content that is both dramatic and grounded, much like Josh's personality.
